This part can be used to replace the screen of your iPhone 5 if you have cracked the glass, cracked the LCD, or the digitiser is no longer responding.

The reason why the iPhone 5 screens are so expensive is that it needs not only the glass replaced, but needs the entire front assembly replaced. You cannot just replace the Digitiser, you need the entire front assembly.
